yeah... apple is a little sick wit it right now. with macbooks that can run windows os and windows os copying macs, it may just be time to make that switch. and... theres at least a 25% chance ill own an iphone in the next 2 years even tho a)i cant afford it, and b)im not currently on cingular's network.

Steve Jobs is seriously my hero. The branding of the iPod may be the best branding we've seen, perhaps in history. I've always been a Mac fan, but these past few years have elevated it. PC's may be easy to use. But I've never wanted to take a bat to a Mac.
i've had a mac since '99... it was seriously take some kind of ill technological advance to get me to switch back (I made a brief switch in '03 and quickly ran back to mac)...and the iphone just took the game to the next level
It is funny (to me) though, that most of the Asiatic population clowned the iPhone as yesterday's news in terms of what it offers.
an interesting (short) explanation of why we seem to be behind the cell phone technology curve...
